Mr. William Herbert Cole, Jr. "Billy" was born March 24, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to parents William Herbert Cole, Sr. and Emma Laura Nipper Cole. He passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. He was 67 years of age.
Billy was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his loving family, wife Wynn Cole, daughter Amy Cole Kelley, son and daughter-in-law, William Gregory "Gregg" Cole and Kristi, sister Judy Cole Land, and four grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Jamison and Coleson Kelley, Gracie and Lilly Cole.
Billy was a Ford Glass Plant retiree. Also a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Goodlettsville. He was a Hume Fogg Tech graduate where he was president of his senior class. Billy had many interests in his life, just to name a few, he loved sports, he was an avid Vandy fan and Tennessee Titans fan. He loved to play golf, fish and to garden. But his favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren, whether it be taking them to football and basketball games or taking them to dance, it didn't matter as long as he was spending time with them and loving them. He had a great sense of humor, just making him a fun person to be around.
Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 31st at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 226 South Main Street, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. To be announced, a Graveside Service will be held at Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN with Bro. Tim Stutler officiating.
