Wesley W. Harmon

Harmon, Wesley (Wes) W. Passed March 14, 2014. He was born June 6, 1918. He was married to the former Martha Pace for 42 years. She died in 1982. He leaves his wife Mary Jeanne Parrish Pride and 2 daughters, Eva Harmon Lane (David) of Baltimore, Maryland and Jane Harmon Faulkner (Keith) of Smyrna, TN,

3 grandchildren, Karoline Bauman and Meredith Olcott of Baltimore, MD and Josh Martin of Smyrna Tn. 4 great grandchildren. 3 Step children, Mike Pride and Melody Harmon of Nashville, Tn and Mark Pride of Kensington, New Hampshire.

9 Step grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific and the occupational forces in Korea. He was a member of Andrew Price Memorial United Church and a 50+ member of Cumberland Masonic Lodge #8. He was a Shriner for 50+ years and a charter member of the Provost Guard Unit. He retired from the Metro Police Dept. He served in the Senate and House of Representatives as Sargent of Arms.

Honorary pall Bearers: Ben Wes, Dr. Robert Gaston Jr, Tom Rogers and Dan McClendon.

Visitation will be at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30th from 4-7pm. Graveside services will be held 1 pm Monday at Mt Olivet Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital through Al Menah Temple.po box 78545 Nashville TN 37207
