OWENS, JR., Thurman Age 70 of Nashville, TN passed away February 3, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, Thurman Owens, Sr. and Jewel Owens; sister, Elizabeth Caplinger, son, David Stubblefied. Survived by brother, Les Owens (Susan) of Bigelow, Ar.; and a host of family and friends. Thurman worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for the Veterans Administration in Memphis, TN. He was very active in AA groups in Tennessee and Alabama. A Memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Saturn Dr. Baptist Church in Nashville, TN.
