Thomas C. Wash, age 92, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, January 4th, 2024. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on June 29th, 1931. He graduated from East High School in Nashville. He married the love of his life, Francis Loretta (Teenie) Hyden on November 23rd, 1957 in Nashville. Together Thomas and Frances had three boys whom they raised all in the Middle Tennessee area.
Prior to Tom working as a Construction Manager for Bellsouth Telecommunications Company for many years he served in the Korean War for the Navy from 1950-1953. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Tom's favorite memories were spent with his children and grandchildren's activities. He loved being with them and being involved in their lives.
Tom is survived by his sons, Jimmy; David and Joe Wash; grandchildren, JT; Morgan; Austin; Ethan; Noah and Caleb; and his great-grandchildren, Emmy; Scottie Jo; Elowen; Colbie.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Francis Loretta (Teenie) Hyden.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane Nashville, TN 37204. Burial with military honors will follow the visitation at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
