Born and raised in Nashville, he attended Sewanee, Hillsboro High School, and the University of Tennessee. While living in Livingston, he started his career in sales and project management. He grew to enjoy project management and gained over 25 years of construction management experience. He also lived in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where he was an outstanding salesman for the Hilton Head Boathouse. Later, he returned to Tennessee and got back into the construction industry. While he was working on a project in Winchester, Tennessee, he met his now wife, Linda Smith. Their relationship began as friends, then best friends, then grew into a strong relationship which led to the decision of marriage. Linda and Tom got married in 2022. They call Silver Point home and enjoy their days together traveling and relaxing with each other and their lab, Dan Troop.
Tom had contagious enthusiasm for fun and a special gift of finding joy in every moment. He cherished his daughter, Kendall, and his wife, Linda, always striving to live life to the fullest. He found joy in spending his days on Center Hill Lake, watching NASCAR on Sundays, and following football, basketball, and Westerns.
