Terry W. Wims

Terry Wayne Wims of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 73. He is preceded in death by parents Thomas J. Wims, Nellie D. Wims; sisters Tommie Phillips and Marilyn Huffman. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Margene Wims; children Thomas (Misty) Wims, Sherry (Trey) Franklin; grandson Hunter Wims; sisters Jann (Charles) Hines and Cathey (Jere) Shelton; and brother-in-law Eddie Phillips.

Terry had a 35 year career in Aircraft Manufacturing for Textron Aerostructures. he worked hard at a young age to provide for his family. Terry had a passion for baseball, fishing, the history of Nashville, and family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather with a huge smile, big heart, and a wonderful sense of humor. Terry loved his family to visit, enjoyed southern meals, and had a special bond with his doggie, Holly Bells. She made him happy, even on his roughest days. Terry enjoyed people, and never met a stranger. He had many friends and was willing to help anyone in need. Terry will always be remembered for his kindness and caring heart for others.

There will be graveside service for family on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 10:00 am.
