Scott was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, and friend to all who knew him. He had a quiet strength and faith in God that he lived out daily. He was a lover of music, automobiles, photography, and politics. He loved to spend time with his family and take his son, Quinn, on photo shoots and encouraged their mutual love of movies. He was a father who wanted his son to see life as a gift and to experience the grace of God in every aspect.
Scott held an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from the College of Coastal Georgia. He was a truly kind and compassionate nurse and his tender care of others, and his heart were a manifestation of that. His true passion was photography, and he held a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from Nossi College of Art in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a talented photographer who used his skills and artistry to capture memories and moments for his clients and all those for whom he cared and loved.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Col. John Whigham of Dublin, Georgia. He is survived by his wife, Heather Whigham and his son, Quinn Whigham of Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His is also survived by his mother, Joan Derry, brother, Jeff Whigham, and nephews Jeffery and Brighton Whigham of Brunswick, Georgia.
