Kyle was born in Nashville, TN on February 10, 1966, to Ronald E. and Ruby S. Wood.He attended Ezell Harding Christian School, then Ohio Valley College and Lipscomb University, where he participated in many different music productions.
Through the years, he had various retail jobs, but what he loved most were his numerous art projects and his music. He was a very gifted singer, songwriter, and mandolin player, with genres ranging from classic rock , gospel, and bluegrass. His amazing "'high notes" were hard to match! He felt humbled and privileged to play bluegrass for many years with Crucial Smith, Latresa and the Signal, where he made lifelong friends and played in numerous festivals and locally at The Sutler and Station Inn.
He leaves behind his dad, Ronald E. Wood; sister Kim (Kip) Williams; nephews, Steve Williams, and Nick (Angelia) Williams. He is preceded in death by mother, Ruby S. Wood and his favorite cats, Eck, Cindy, and Yngwie.
He will be dearly missed by his family, his many dear friends, his fans, and his "earthly angels", especially former wife, Gwen. He can now sing on with the heavenly angels.
