Raymond Russell

After graduating from Cheatham County High School Raymond then honorably served our country in the United States Navy from 1956 - 1960. Raymond had a career with Oman Construction Company in Data Processing and Accounting for nearly 40 years. He married Phyllis Elaine Patton on September 9, 1962 they later divorced in 1996.

Raymond was passionate about staying in good health and loved to jog, ride his bike, and walk. He loved working on his farm, growing vegetables and giving them away, and spending time with his girls and his family. Raymond came to know Jesus Christ as a young man and lived his life as God-fearing, selfless, and charitable, always giving and doing good deeds for others. Those that know him readily express that Raymond was the kindest, sweetest, and happiest individual that they have ever met.

He is survived by two daughters; Pamela (Brian) Bruce and Tracy (Andy) Bradford

Grandchildren; Shaun Durden, Zachary (Morgan) Bruce, Benjamin (Nicole) Bruce, Kaitlyn (Chris) Ramirez, Jordan (Tiffany) Bradford, Tyler (Bailey) Bradford, Lauren Fuqua, Autumn Bruce, Owen Bradford, 7 great grandchildren, two Sisters Beverly (James) Stubblefield and Joyce (James) DeWire, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in our father’s name to the American Lung Association.
