Mildred Virginia Johnson Preston, age 91, passed away October 9, 2017. Preceded in death by husband William Henry Preston Jr.; daughter Libra Louise Preston Parsell; son-in-law Jerry Wayne York; and parents John Hannibal and Mary Louise Blackman Johnson.
Survived by children William Henry Preston III; Virginia Preston York Stephens (Curtis), Jeffrey Hume Preston, John Wayne Preston; son-in-law Douglas Parsell; grandchildren Michelle York Barnett (Barry) and Brian Wayne York; great-grandchildren Dalton Barnett and Emily Barnett; brothers Douglas Hume Johnson, Charles Johnson (Katie), Willie Johnson (Betty); and sister-in-law Christine Johnson.
The family would like to express a special Thank You to Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing and Kindred Hospice.
Family will receive friends Friday from 10am-2pm with the funeral service at 2pm at Eastland Funeral Home.
