Mary Clark Hall

Mary (Louise) Clark Hall, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt, wife and most importantly Christian, passed away July 4th, 2024 at age 95 and went to be with her God and Savior. Born on October 24th, 1928 in Menard, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Jessie Clark; sister, Clara Clark; brother, Clarence Clark; son, John Clark Hall; and beloved husband, Richard Hall. She leaves a loving sister, Vera Garmon (to be 100 in December); sons, Robert Hall (Karen Kay); Scott Hall; and Gary Hall (Anita Kay); former daughter-in-law, Pat; grandchildren, Mackenzie; Lincoln; Sara; Lucas (Bethany); Madeline; Garrett; Caleb; Zoe; Kayleigh; and Mary Katherine; and great-granddaughter, Macy Jane.

She lived by what she wrote: "I tried to stay close to Christians, and it helped in trying to live a Christian life." She also wrote: "I tried to stay busy doing good works to keep me out of trouble." She didn't always stay out of trouble, like all of us, but she did a good job at showing love to others. She tried always to lift up people's hearts and spirits, showing God's love.

God came first in her life, then came family, and next whoever was with her. She was not perfect, none of us are, but she really did love God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength, the greatest compliment of all. We will miss her.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Mary will be held Thursday, July 11th, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:15pm at Crieve Hall Church of Christ, 4806 Trousdale Dr, Nashville, TN 37220. A Celebration of Life Service will occur Thursday, July 11th, 2024 beginning at 2:30pm, 4806 Trousdale Dr, Nashville, TN 37220. Burial will follow services at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
