Mrs. Mary Stokely Gebhardt age 87, of Nashville, TN, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016. Mrs. Gebhardt was born in Newport, TN, on July 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Llyde Stokely and Lucy Murphy Stokely. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church where she was a longtime choir member and children’s choir teacher. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gebhardt was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Adam Gebhardt. Survivors include a son, Jim (Jimbo) Gebhardt (Susan); daughter, Jani Ford (George); three grandchildren, Mandi Anderson (Patrick), Emmett Ford, and Richard Ford; and two great-grandchildren, Emma and Caden. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016, at one o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
