Martha "Jill" Yarbrough

Jill graduated from West End High School and married the love of her life, Norman D. Yarbrough, on December 15, 1952, in Nashville. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and joy. As a devoted homemaker, Martha nurtured her family and created a warm and welcoming home.

A member of Judson Baptist Church, Martha found joy in her faith and community. She had a passion for gardening, often spending hours in her flower bed, and loved decorating her front porch, where she enjoyed the beauty of nature.

Jill was preceded in death by her husband, Norman. She is survived by her children: Saresa Yarbrough, Morgan Yarbrough, Scott Yarbrough, and Cindy Dowdy. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Melanie Howle, Willis Yarbrough, and Rachel Dowdy, as well as her great-grandchildren, Wesley Howle, Violet Howle, and Graham Howle.

Jill's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A gathering of family and friends for Jill will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life service will occur Monday, October 14, 2024 beginning at 10:00am with a burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Ralph Alexander.

Pallbearers will be Morgan Yarbrough, Scott Yarbrough, Willis Yarbrough, Michael Dowdy, Tommy Luong, and Bryan Cruz Rivera.
