A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Mickey was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee Gowen, Sr. and Evangeline Willie Davis Gowen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jesse Lee Gowen, Jr., of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, brother Robert H. Gowen of Birmingham, Alabama.
Mickey is survived by brother Bill Gowen of Atlanta, Georgia, daughter Leeann Abernathy Bailey of Nashville, Tennessee, granddaughter Stephanie Jones of Murfreesboro, Tennesse, grandson Jason Friton of Ashland City, Tennessee, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Mickey lived a full life and was successful in business for many years. She touched many lives in many ways and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, June 26, 2020 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. There will be a gathering of family and friends from eleven o'clock in the morning until time of service at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, June 26, 2020, with Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family requests that all in attendance please wear a face mask and practice social distancing out of respect to others.
