Margaret Ethridge Hobgood

Mrs. Hobgood was born in Nashville, TN, on February 16, 1932, the daughter of the late Floyd Braxton Ethridge and Flossie Ann Pugh. She retired from Ford Glass Company after thirty years of service. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hobgood was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hobgood and a brother, James Ethridge.

Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Beech; step daughter, Sue Southall (Jim); adopted daughter, Becky Boner Tellas; a son, Arthur Beech (Nancy); seven grandchildren, Martin “Mark” Beech, Harvey Beech, Brad Beech, Randy Southall, Patreka Boner Wallace, Christa Tellas Hines, and Donald Tellas; fifteen great-grandchildren, Allie Beech, Branden Beech, Breelea Beech, Jaycee Beech, Joy Beech, Veronica Beech, Pryce Beech, Saffy Purdom, Max Beech, Aybree Beech, Bentley Beech, Gabrielle Southall, Michael Duvall,Tyler Duvall, and Cody Choate; four sisters, Ruth Henson, Shirley Mayberry (William), Helen Hood (Jack), and Linda Hines (Gary); and a sister-in-law, Nancy Ethridge.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017, at ten o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Edward Coffman officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from two o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

The active pallbearers will be Mark Beech, Harvey Beech, Brad Beech, Braden Beech, Pryce Beech, and Shannon Hines. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Hood, Gary Hines, William Mayberry, and Jim Southall.
