Kenneth Cook, 90, of Nashville, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born to the late Asa and Eliza Cook on August 8, 1929 in Pulaski, Tennessee. Mr. Cook was a graduate of Central High School in Nashville and was a life long member of the Church of Christ. Kenneth was a veteran of the Air Force and spent the majority of his career in telecommunications with AT&T. He had a passion for woodworking, gunsmithing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Marjorie J. Cook and grandson, Ryan Brunner.
Mr. Cook is survived by his three children; Rita (Jimmy) Stevens, Forest (Shelley) Cook and Sandra (David) Brunner; four grandchildren, Forrest (Alicia) Trotter, Jason (Nichole) Brunner, Hayden (Stephanie) Cook and Larson Cook; seven great grandchildren, Lyrin and Landree Trotter, Jocelyn, Faith and Grace Brunner and Will and Maddie Cook. He is also survived by one brother, Harold F. Cooke.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019, from ten o'clock until twelve o'clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton funeral home. A graveside service with military honors to remember Kenneth's life will be held following visitation at twelve o'clock at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
