WERTZ, John Robert "Bob" Age 89 of Brentwood, TN. September 19, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Viola Wertz; son, Doug Wert; four sisters and one brother. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Aldene Wertz; daughters, Cheryl (Bill) Tierney, Nancy Cox and Janet (Mike) Henderson; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Pat) Tierney-Connelly, Ryan Tierney, Stephanie (Josh) Burns, Leigh-Ann Cox, Lauren Henderson and Shannon Henderson, and three great-grandchildren, William, Emma and Hudson Burns. He was a graduate of Northwestern University, a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during World War II, and a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church. Services will be on September 22, 2012 with visitation at 9:a.m. until service at 10 a.m., Brentwood United Methodist chapel, with a burial service at 10 a.m. on September 23, 2012 in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL.
