Jo Anne Forehand, 92, of Nashville, TN, passed away on October 10, 2024. Born in Nashville on December 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Lucile Bailey. Jo Anne was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Bonnie Forehand Hyde.
Throughout her career, Jo Anne made significant contributions in marketing and advertising, working with esteemed firms such as Cain-Sloan, Castner's, Nobel Dury, and Eric Erickson.
Outside of her professional life, Jo Anne had a deep passion for needlepoint, creating beautiful and intricate pieces that were cherished by friends and family alike. She found joy in the tranquility of her garden, where she nurtured a variety of plants and flowers, often spending hours cultivating her little sanctuary. Reading was another of her great loves; she was always eager to dive into a new story. Jo Anne also treasured her travels with Bonnie, exploring the beauty of the United States and visiting enchanting destinations abroad. Those adventures created lasting memories that she held close to her heart.
Jo Anne is survived by many devoted friends who will remember her kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
