Jean Smith Wells, Age 85, was born halfway up Lookout Mountain. Jean passed away peacefully April 24, 2017 at Alive Hospice. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Hugh Don Wells; siblings, Harold Smith, Patrick Smith, Evelyn McGovern, Margaret Brown, Jack Smith and Ann Hale. Jean is survived by her son, Anthony "Tony" L. Wells (Rhonda); daughter, Donna Wells-Osborne (Frank); grandchildren, Ashley Heun (Art); Anthony "Chip" L. Wells Jr. (Chelsey); Joshua A. Spurlock and Connor Micheal Wells; great grandchildren, Alex Van Velsor, Caroline Heun and Patrick Heun. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26th from 4 - 8 pm at Hibbet & Hailey Funeral Home with the Rosary at 7:30 pm and from 10 am - 12 pm Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Funeral Mass to begin at 12 noon.
