James "Buddy" Albert Withers

James Albert " Buddy" Withers, age 64, of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. He was born in Houston, Texas on October 23, 1957, to the late Patricia Ann Woodson and Raymond Jacob Withers. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Lynn Warner and brother, Raleigh Jacob Withers, grandson, Jonathan Gilliland.

Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Connie Withers; his children, Ann Marie Garcia, Raymond Withers, James Withers, April (Ronnell) Bryant, Dannielle (Shacourtney) Withers, and Amber Withers; grandchildren, Chelsea Withers, Rei Carney, Jacob Withers, Hailey Carney, Katlyn Withers, Darian Nettles, Marisa Nettles, Reonna Withers, Rhyanna Bryant, Shawn Withers, Miley Withers, Kashlynn Gilliland and six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Timothy Driver and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Buddy was known as "Mr. Fix-it" and was known to everyone that knew him, as the problem solver. His wisdom was appreciated and given freely. Buddy was a friend and grandpa to many outside his family.

Buddy's passion was drag racing and building motors.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from eleven until two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon in Lindsley Hall at Mount Olivet Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
