James Dallas Jones

James Dallas age 71 passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012. He was born Sunday, June 22, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee, Jim is a 15 year veteran of the US Navy, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal (with device), Vietnam Service Medial (with one Bronze Star); he is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie Dallas and Katherine McFall Jones; brothers, Richard and Robert Jones.

He is survived by his wife of seven years Jacqueline Smith Jones; daughters Suzett (Perry) Arnold, Candy Jones, Sandy Jones, Melanie (George) Biddix, Sheri (George) Strain, Cynthia (Terry) Castille; sons, Ricky Jones, Donny Jones, Michael Jones, Malcom Castille; sisters, Vivian (Franklin) Allen, Mellissa Woodruff; brother, Rev. John Allen (Janice) Jones; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 Monday, August 20, 2012 in the chapel of Eastland Funeral Home 904 Gallatin Road with Rev. John Allen Jones officiating. Active Pallbearers are Pete Allen, George Strain, Malcolm Castille, Franklin Smith, Allen Smith and Ronald Mitchell. Honorary Pallbearers: Terry Valmont, George Biddix, Curtis Mitchell, William Smith, Timothy Castille, David Smith, III. Burial with honors by the US Navy will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 1150 South Dickerson Pike in Goodlettsville.
