Jack Thomas Jones passed away on November 6, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 40. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama and is survived by his three children; Ava Grace Jones (12), Sarah Beth Jones (9), Jack Jones Jr. (4), his parents Tom and Patrice Jones, and his sister Emily Grace Goben (Ron). He is preceded in death by grandparents: Jack and Grace Ingram, Gerald and Margaret Jones.
Jack was loved by so many, and he has left a void in all our lives. His greatest love in life was his children. They adored their Dad and he adored them right back. He had an infectious personality that was bigger than life, a smile that lit up the room and his hugs warmed many souls. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Jack loved to tell great stories and he had so many of them to share.
Jack’s greatest joy in life was helping others. He had the biggest heart and never hesitated to volunteer or show up for others when needed. He was blessed with the ability to put anything together, repair what’s broken or just figure out a process or problem. He was successful as a licensed general contractor in the Nashville area, loved his work and loved the people he worked with. Jack was an avid Alabama football fan and collected Alabama memorabilia throughout his life. He was also a country boy at heart and loved hunting, fishing, gatherings with friends and country music. His circle of friends in recovery were family. He loved each of them fiercely and always worked to give back or help anyone who was struggling.
