Henry L. "Hank" Loggins - Born on the 28th of January 1927 in Dyer Co., TN to the late Pierce and Ethel Loggins, and passed away on the 1st of July 2014 in Nashville, TN at the age of 87. Raised on cotton farms in West TN, served a tour in the Army, then settled in Nashville where he married and raised his own family. He spent his career as a truck driver and loved serving as a Deacon at Crieve Hall Church of Christ and driving the church bus; being a scout leader for Boy Scout Troop 227; and volunteering for the American Red Cross, transporting blood. His hobbies were coin and stamp collecting and listening to Johnny Cash music. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Christine Woodward Loggins, married 41 years, and his brothers, Walter and Gerald Loggins. He is survived by his wife, Nell Hall Loggins, married 20 years; daughter, Cathy Pflueger (Rich); son, Brian Loggins (Lisa); brother, Rondell Loggins; step-daughters, Sharon Duffel and Machelle Spencer; step-son, Michael Hall; and several nieces and nephews. The family will gather with friends for a time of visitation two hours prior to the Celebration of Life service that will be held at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall at eleven-thirty Saturday morning, the 5th of July 2014 with Dick Brackett and Wavell Stewart officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers are the Elders and Deacons of Crieve Hall Church of Christ and his brother, Rondell Loggins. Memorial contributions may be made to World Christian Broadcasting, Crieve Hall Church, or Boy Scouts of America.
