Harry Joseph Grimes

He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. Grimes Sr. and Frances Brown Grimes; brother, James B. Grimes Jr. and sister, Virginia Grimes Truett. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Barbara Fox Grimes; sister, Dora Grimes Ewing; sister in-law and brother in-law, Kathleen and John Tenhundfeld; brother-in-law, Lewis B. Burton; nephews, James B. Grimes, Dr. John W. Tenhundfeld, David A. Tenhundfeld, Paul H. Tenhundfeld, and Alex J. Tenhundfeld.

Harry graduated Chaminade College Preparatory School and Vanderbilt University. He served in the U.S. Army Security Agency in West Germany. His professional career involved real estate development and appraisal and mortgage banking. Harry was a dedicated duck hunter and avid reader. He was a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 10 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 3001 Belmont Boulevard with Mass following at 11:30 a.m.
