Gary was born on August 1, 1955 in Nashville, TN, the son of Albert and Shirley Williams. He worked for 43 years at Aladdin Temp-Rite prior to retirement in August 2018. He coached his son, Matthew’s, baseball, basketball, and football teams over the years and was often called “Coach Gary”. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening and always had various car projects going on. He loved his children and his granddaughter, Sydney, and he loved spending time with them.
Surviving are his children, Stephanie (husband, Ross) Keisling and Matthew Williams; granddaughter, Sydney Keisling; mother, Shirley Williams; sister, Charlotte Williams; brother, Randy Williams; niece, Lindsey Hammonds; and nephew, Jarod Williams.
Preceding him in death is his father, Albert Williams.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until two thirty in the afternoon. A Celebration of Life will follow at two thirty with Celebrant Greg Comp officiating at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
