She was a Nashville native, a fine Christian lady, and faithful member of First Lutheran Church until she could no longer physically attend. She graduated from East High School at the age of 16 during WWII and went to work at the Veterans Administration Regional office. She then went on to become a homemaker once her first child was born.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Williams of Nashville; Jeanne Williams of Atlanta; and Rachel Wells of Los Angeles; along with several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Douglas W. Williams; her parents and siblings.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Emma will be held Thursday, June 13th, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. As well as, Friday, June 14th, 2024 at 9:00am. A Celebration of Life Service will follow visitation on Friday, June 14, 2024 beginning at 10:00am. Burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park will will follow.
