New Orleans, and driving a taxi in San Francisco. He spent one year in graduate study at Vanderbilt
University, then returned to New Orleans and worked at Hibernia Bank for several years before
returning to Nashville.
His real estate career included working as a residential and commercial appraiser for Metropolitan
Nashville Assessor's Office, McGuigan & Associates, The Wiley Group, and The Appraisal Group

supporter of Montgomery Bell Academy and Nashville Public Library. He was a communicant of
Christ Church Cathedral.
