A native of Nashville, Clifton was born on December 6, 1940, to the late Henry Warrick and Elsie Boner Warrick. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a deckhand aboard the U.S.S. Platte. After his military service, Clifton worked in the paper products industry, spending many years with the CPS Company in the warehouse until his retirement.
Clifton had many interests, including fishing, playing golf, and camping, but above all, he cherished spending time with his beloved wife, Shirley, and their children. His family was his greatest joy, and his love and devotion to them were evident throughout his life.
Clifton is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Warrick; daughters Patrice Shivers, Denise Giles, Tammy Manier, and Lisa Joseph (Eric); grandchildren DeWayne Giles, Travis Fitch, Terry Cohea Jr. (Jodie), Matthew Wolters, and Catelynn Joseph; as well as seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Clifton was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsie Warrick, two brothers, David and Clarence Ray and his loving dog Hallie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Clifton's memory.
