Scotty King Jr. (Lil' Scotty) was known for his originality and for his ability to brighten a room. He loved his boys more than life itself. Scotty filled every event with laughter and his kind heart will forever be remembered. Christopher Scott King, Jr., 26, of Nashville, Tennessee, left this world on October 23rd, 2023.
Lil' Scotty was born on April 4th, 1997 to Julia Dawn Hannagan & Christopher Scott King Sr. He is survived by his two children Christopher Scott King III and Dominique Ray King (Athens, GA), his mother Julia Dawn Hannagan (St.Augustine, FL), his father and step-mother Christopher Scott King, Sr. and Triniti King (Princeton, KY), his brother Harley King (Princeton, KY), his step-sister Hannah Wilcox (Princeton, KY), his sister Christina King (Franklin, KY), his uncle and aunt Michael King Sr. and Chandra King (Hendersonville, TN), his cousins Michael King, Jr. and Kayli King (Hendersonville, TN) his grandparents Larry and Donna King (Portland, TN) and his grandmother Vickie Clay (Lafayette, TN).
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Richard "Paw" Hannagan (Nashville, TN).
Scotty King Jr. was an avid music lover and enjoyed many different genres and styles of music. He was also a regular gamer and enjoyed playing a variety of video games. Scotty grew up in East Nashville and spent most of his childhood there, while living in Hendersonville, TN briefly as a teenager. He attended both Stratford High School and Hendersonville High School. Scotty became a father in 2016 (CJ) and again in 2017 (Dominique). He lived and worked in many places across the U.S. including St. Augustine, FL, Athens, GA, Tempe, AZ, and most recently in Chattanooga, TN while striving to be the best father he could be to his children.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date and time. Mount Olivet Funeral Home and Cemetery is managing his care.
