Charlie Frank Moseley was born on November 19, 1933, to John and Effie Moseley. He grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, alongside six siblings. After graduating from Antioch High School, he served in the Army before embarking on a career in law enforcement. Charlie eventually retired as a Metro Police Officer.
Throughout his life, Charlie was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and had a passion for NASCAR racing, music, traveling or as Charlie says, Piddling, and spending time with his beloved pet companion, Misty. He was known for his love of law enforcement and his dedication to his profession.
Charlie was preceded in death by his Parents, John and Effie Moseley; Siblings, Willie Scarlet, Carl Moseley, Jack Moseley, Fred Moseley, and Mary Davenport.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Nellie Moseley, his faithful dog, Misty, sister, Virginia Cagle and numerous nieces and nephews.
His life will be remembered fondly by those who knew him, and his memory will live on through the love and affection he shared with his family, friends, and community.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Charlie will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A Celebration of Life will begin Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
