80 of Nashville passed away Monday March 19,
2018. She was a native of Nashville. She was
a member of Belmont Heights Baptist Church
where she served as a Bible teacher and was a
mentor to many college students who also lived
in her home. She attended Woodmont School
and was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and
Vanderbilt University where she was a member
of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was an 8th
grade teacher at Parmer School and Isaac Litton
Junior High. She is survived by her husband Hollis
E Johnson III, Son Hollis E Johnson IV (Terri)
of Montgomery, AL, Daughter Martha J Heston
(Scott) of Chicago, IL, her sister Marilyn M Geron
of Cowan, TN and her grandchildren Marie Rose
Johnson and Hollis E Johnson V. Visitation with
the family on Friday March 23, from 11 o clock am
until 1 o clock pm with Celebration of Life Ceremony
at 1 pm in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with
Rev. John Garner and Rev Jason Cruise officiating.
