Brian "PawPaw" Dalton, age 75, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Born in Jackson, Michigan Wednesday, July 31, 1940 and is preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Bernard Thomas Dalton; daughter, Trilla Jean Adams; sister, Beverly Hopkins, Gloria Kragg, Bonnie Dalton.
Mr. Dalton is survived by his daughters, Darlene Pennington and her husband, Monty; Maureen Mack and her husband, Keith; his sisters, Sister Maureen Dalton and Jeannie Farmer; fiancée, Dina Romero; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dalton served in the US Navy; retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years as a letter carrier and then went on to open his own barber shop, Barney's, in Old Hickory, TN. He enjoyed playing golf and various styles of music.
A celebration of life will be conducted 6:00 Monday, April 25, 2016 in the chapel of Eastland Funeral Home and will include honors from the Navy.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Dalton at a visitation Monday, April 25, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Eastland Funeral Home 904 Gallatin Ave. Nashville, TN 37206.
