Bill Crouch

Bill L. Crouch passed away on October 6, 2021, at Morning Pointe Assisted Living, Franklin, TN. He was a life-long resident of Nashville/Davidson County. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Frances; children, Steven (Melissa) of Greeneville, TN, Kenneth (Elizabeth) of Columbia, TN, and Janet Marshall (Andrew) of Franklin, TN. Bill served his country during WWII on the Naval Cruiser USS Oklahoma City. For twenty years, he worked with the Nashville Parks & Recreation Department, as well as served on the NES board for several years. He then owned E. L. Geistman Tractor Company and finally became a Manager/Sales Person of Alley-Cassetty Truck Centers, where he worked until he was 86 years of age. Bill and Fran were long-time members of Acklen Ave. Church of Christ where Bill was a Deacon, and then Elder for many decades.

Bill is a very proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, Graci Burnett, Lilly Gilliland-Crouch, Sarah Crouch, Lawson Crouch, Claire Crowell, Emily Marshall, and Cliff Marshall, as well as six great-grandchildren, Samuel Burnett, Julie Gilliland, Hattie Jane Crowell, Eliza Crowell, Kaylin Barker, and Marshall and Mason Barker. Honorary Pallbearers include Don Jennings, Lawson Crouch, Cliff Marshall, Tyler Crowell, Russ Burnett, and Jared Gilliland. The Crouch family also wants to thank the caring Staff that husband/father received at Morning Pointe in Franklin, TN.

The family is to have a private burial service, and on October 19, 2021, A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Acklen Ave. Church of Christ starting at 2:00 PM, with visitation starting at 1:00 PM.
