Betty June Jacobs

Betty June Jacobs, age 98, of Franklin, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Betty was born in Jackson, TN on April 21, 1924. Betty graduated Union University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Bible.

She was married to Rev. Herman E. Jacobs on August 7, 1945 in Jackson, TN. Betty worked as a secretary for Metro Nashville Public Schools. She was the pastor's wife and member of Judson Baptist Church where she devoted her extra time to help out.

Betty was a devoted wife as well as being a warm, caring and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Preachers wife and a great friend. She had passions for singing, writing, painting china, reading, and any kind of entertaining. Betty was involved in every church organization that she could have been in.

She was survived by son, Don (Sharon) Jacobs; daughters, Janet (Dick) Wyatt, June (Cliff) Harville; brother, Don Young (Eads TN); 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Louise Glisson Young, Fred Hornsby Young and her husband, Rev. Herman E. Jacobs.

A visitation for Betty will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A visitation will occur Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
