Benjamin Lee Turner

Benjamin Lee Turner, 33, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 7, 2019. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Margaret Marshall Wood, Leonard Norman Wood, Mildred Turner Roland and Harold Ray Turner. Also, preceded by step grandfather Benjamin Forest Roland. He is survived by his parents Beth Wood Turner and Charles Timothy Turner and his sister Margaret Turner Gilbert (Zack) and step nieces Skyla Rose Gilbert and Jada Joy Marie Gilbert and step nephew Carter William Gilbert. He is survived by his aunt Catherine Marshall Wood. He is also survived by his step grandmother Clara Creighton Wood. He is survived by his girlfriend Sky Kelly and her daughter Ainslie. Ben and Ainslie were quite the pair-two peas in a pod.

Ben was a kind and fun loving soul. He could brighten your day with his big smile and boisterous laughter. He loved Alabama football and the Dallas Cowboys. He was the commissioner of at least one fantasy football league every fall. He could answer almost any football question you could throw at him. He loved cars and could tell you anything about any one of them. He had a passion for weight lifting and enjoyed working out. And although he had his own struggles, he would never pass up an opportunity to help someone in need.

He was loved by all who knew him. We love you, and we will miss you, Ben. Keep your eye on us.
