FISHER, Anne Elizabeth Gilbert – Age 88 of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, the 12th of July 2013. Born on the 21st of January 1925 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Anne grew up in Nashville with her parents, William Winfred and Ruby Wilson Gilbert. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Thomas C. Fisher. She is survived by sons, Tom (Julie), Bill (Susan), Alan and special friend Grace Follin; seven grandchildren, Matthew (Julie), Melissa, Sally, Lisa Beard (Jeff), Will (Hilaire), Andrea Rosenbohm (Josh), and Rachel Gonzalez (Danny); and four great-grandchildren, Madison Rosenbohm, Emmett Beard, Ellison Beard and Max Fisher. Anne was a graduate of Central High School and was employed for several years with First American National Bank. She was a life-long member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church. She and her late husband, Thomas C. Fisher, were married at Waverly Place UMC in October 1945. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning, the 16th of July 2013 at eleven-thirty at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with Pastor Dr. James G. Hughes officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers: Matthew Fisher, Will Fisher, JT Tanksley, David Hofstetter, and Martin Sanders. Friends and family will gather to remember Mrs. Fisher Monday evening between the hours of five o'clock and seven o'clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. The family wishes to thank the many friends and relatives for every act of kindness shown to them during the passing of their loved one. Special thanks to cousin Jane Burnett, Alive Hospice and Anne's very special care giver for the last 3 years, Amy Nix. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice, Williamson County Meals on Wheels, the Humane Society or Forest Hills United Methodist Church.
