Our beautiful Alice, affectionally known as the "car wash lady", left this world to be with God, her parents, her brother, and the multitude of animals she loved so dearly on August 28, 2021. Alice was the hardest working, most generous, and most loving person that God put on this earth. Her Compassion was limitless, helping hundreds of people, organization, school, and even strangers. She had a servant's heart, giving herself fully to the happiness and well-being of others. If there is anyone sitting at the right hand of God, it is our beautiful loving Alice.
Alice was born in Donelson, TN on May 21, 1953. She grew up in a beautiful family that she love fiercely-so much that she lived most of her adult life just a few houses down the road from her parents. She was an all-around athlete who played basketball and tennis in addition to being a nation champion baton twirler. She graduated from Two Rivers High School in 1971 and MTSU in 1974. After the devastating loss of her parents over 20 years ago and her brother 4 years ago, she put all of her efforts into the family business- U Wash Auto Systems, Inc.-started by her father and brother. It was often shocking to customers, though not uncommon, to see the beautiful blonde woman standing atop her truck, fixing hoses, climbing ladders, whatever it took to keep the business running at its best.
Alice and John were blessed with their wonderful son Michael who Alice loved more than life itself. Her world revolved around him, and she looked forward to his nightly Facetime calls.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Tex and Marion as well as her brother A.O.
Alice is survived by her husband John of 32 Years, son Dr. Michael Yokosuk (Kendall), sister MaryDell Robinson (Dan), nieces Sayward Robinson, Ashley Block, and Jessica Wilson, and nephew, Luke Robinson. She was fortunate enough to have friends that she chose as family: Mrs. Jean, who she looked to as a second mother, and her daughters, Heidi and Tabitha. She has special friends in Shirley, Patrice, DeeDee, Sherry, Beth, Joanie, Jacki, Terri and Jane.
We love you, Alice, with "ALL OF OUR HEART AND A PIECE OF OUR LIVER!"
