Alice Dimple McDonald Miller, age, 98 passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019. She was born on June 21, 1921 in Monterey, Tennessee to the late Maurice & Beulah Ledbetter McDonald. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, John Edwin Miller and her husband Eli J. Miller. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Miller, Gallatin; daughters, Sarah Beth Miller of Murfreesboro and Diane (Bob) Lee of Goodlettsville; grandson, Matthew Eli Miller; brothers, Roy & Willie McDonald of Nashville; sister, Anna Rose Warren of Brentwood and many nieces and nephews. Dimple was a long standing member of First Baptist Church in Goodlettsville and she was an executive assistant for the Southern Baptist Foundation. Pallbearers, Shannon McDonald, Ross McDonald, Bill McDonald, Bob McDonald, David McDonald, Lee McDonald, Brad McDonald and Drew McDonald. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Lindsley Hall of Mount Olivet Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery.

He suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury during a football game in October 2015. He was a senior at Siegel High School in Murfreesboro at the time. Baylor has spent many hours in physical therapy in Atlanta, Chicago & Orlando, and the medical bills continue to grow. Dimple loved to hear Pastor David preach sermons & Sarah Beth babysat for all the Bramble children when they were little.
