William “Bub” Bernard Lee, Jr., 64, of Nashville died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his home. He was born May 31, 1950 in Lexington, MS to William Bernard Lee, Sr. and Genevieve Sullivan Lee. He was retired from Cummins Engine Inc.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Julie Waltman Lee of Nashville; two sons, Brandon and Trenton Lee both of Nashville; two brothers, John “Rusty” Lee and David Lee and his wife Susan both of Bloomington; two sisters, Alma Wootton of Nashville and Cathie Pearson and her husband Rick of Bloomington; mother and father-in-law, Lee and Lois Waltman of Nashville; a brother-in-law, David Waltman; two sisters-in-law, Lisa Day and her husband Steve and Ellen Masteller and her husband Danny; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bub was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Viet Nam war; he also enjoyed wood working, farming, remodeling homes and bluegrass music, especially when it was his son performing. As an all-around handyman he was always out helping his neighbors and family with any project that they had and helping his sons work on their cars. Bub was a giving person and even in death donated the gift of life to whomever may benefit from his unselfish gift.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 St Rd 135 North with Pastor Tim Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Friday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
