Cindy, my little sister was Truly the Sweetheart of the family........I remember a Picture that sat on my Dads dresser she was 3or4 at the time, grinning from ear to ear with her ponytail and those rosy red lips, we were best friends back then i am 5yrs older, then at 18 I went in to the Marines, got Married settled in Kansas life Happened.............Cindy was a Braineack and Accomplished everything she set out to do in life, most of it was self taught.........She received a lot of different Awards in her life, but was never proud or puffed up but very Humble.........I can't say she memorised the whole BIBLE but she made a big dent in it........Cindy would go to BIBLE School at Eagledale Baptist  Church and the next week have BIBLE School in our Yard.........Cindy was not afraid to tell others About the Finished Work of JESUS on The Cross of Calvary.......... Where HE DIED for all the Sins of Mankind Past Present and Future.........spent three whole days in the Ground..........and That GOD RAISED JESUS up out of the pit of HELL and set HIM at GODS Right Side....(What an AWESOME Perfect Plan to save Man, that GOD Love US so much that HE sent Himself as JESUS to pay for our sins........a Debt he did not owe........and a Debt We Could not Pay Because we had sin in us)............Cindy is with JESUS i do not Doubt it for one second, She is missed greatly (MOM still cries every day) but we Believers in JESUS will see her Very soon, and you can as well, all those that Call on the Name of the LORD Shall be saved........For if we believe in our heart (our inner man/woman) and Confess with our mouths........That GOD Raised JESUS from the Dead we will go to be with the LORD and Cindy.... To my beautiful sister Cindy... My heart is broken, My pain is constant, My best friend is gone. I was so blessed to have you in my life for a brief 52 years. I will miss our daily phone conversations, the dreams and secrets we shared with each other and most of all your beautiful smile and kind heart. We traveled together and celebrated together. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone could share a love story like we did? You had an absolutely brilliant mind and excelled at everything you did. You were taken from us way to soon and there will be an emptiness in our hearts forever. Thank God for memories...we shared so many. I will miss you forever my sweet sister. We both had Cindy in our IU classes and for that I feel very fortunate and blessed. She exemplified a “perfect” student – eager to learn, engaged in the educational process, focused on her goals, and supportive of other students. In my introduction health course she rallied a small group of undergraduate students and then led the best class presentation I have seen during my entire career. Something about coming into the classroom to the Ghostbuster's theme song dressed in haz-mat gear set the tone for an outstanding presentation. Later during her time at IU Cindy took book of Bob courses. He was equally impressed with how excited about learning she was and engaged during classes. We became fast friends with both Cindy and Jim, valuing the times we spent chatting and being at the lake. My heart breaks at her untimely passing. I'm am saddened to hear of Cindy's passing. We worked together at Lantech and stayed in contact occasionally after we both left the company. We had dinner together in late February while I was working in Bloomington. She was very sad about Jim's passing, but was optimistic about finishing nursing school. I can't believe she is gone so young. She was a sweet, kind, funny, and talented person.

I worked with Cindy at LANTech for six years.  She was a wonderful mentor, a very worthy colleague, and great fun to be around.  I have missed her friendship and smile over the years (and yes, getting PING'd as well.)

Cindy was a deeply respected part of the Lantech training team.  She had a fierce desire to be among the best in the industry...and she was.  Her passion and commitment was endless.  I am saddened by her loss.  May her family and friends find peace in the knowledge that she touched so many in a positive way.

So sorry to hear of Cindy's passing.  I went to high school with her (Northwest High School class of 1979). I was in the marching band and always thought of her as a very caring person.

I knew Cindy from Northwest High School, short, smart and sweet. Always made me smile. My sympathies to the family.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Cindy's passing.  I worked with her for years at Lantech in the education department.  She ALWAYS made me smile and never ceased to keep things interesting and fun. She was known for being the light in the dark, always positive always smiling.  I will be praying for her and for her family and friends.

Cindy was a light, a joy to be around, and such a terrific friend.  I am shocked by her passing, and missing her so much already.  You couldn't ask for a better friend.  I have so many fond memories of Cindy.  I was enjoying listening to Cindy as she tackled a long-term goal of first finishing her bachelor's degree at IU, and then, working toward starting in the nursing program.  Her laugh and smile were infectious.  Her life was cut way too short, as she had so much more to give to the world.  She loved her soul mate, Jim, and was a wonderful, loving, and adoring partner to him - and never left his side as he diminished medically, and eventually passed away.  She was always doing nice things for others, and gave the most thoughtful gifts...gifts that showed how much she cared about another person.  I know that Cindy is with Jim (and Rick) in heaven.  Cindy was an angel on earth, and now she will be a guardian angel to so many of us.
