It's taken me a long time to be able to compose myself to write words to my beautiful cousin.  I have so many fond memories of Liz, all of those loving, involving family time and always bringing me a sense of warmth for forgotten and simpler times.  
We (Gabi, Gretch and myself) loved to talk to Liz, play and interact with her while we were growing up.  Her stories were legendary, some based on her own perception and fact.  In this way, she taught me to be understanding, accepting and to listen to more than just what was being said, but to also try and understand the speakers perspective. This has helped me throughout my life in interacting with people.   To say my cousin is part of who I am as an individual is a testament to who Lizzie was as a person.  
Always the life the party, always with that beautiful smile, and ALWAYS making me feel like the most special person in the room...I'm sure she whispered in all of our ears at one point in time: 'You are my favorite Cousin'.  And somehow, we all felt like it was true.  Because she made all of us feel like this way.  And Liz was and is forever special to all of us...to each and every person she interacted with and touched.  
I will always Miss and Love you Lizzie.

My heart goes out to you’all, the pain is difficult, but I know God, will be there for you. Marta I’m deeply sorry for your loss, 
I know Lizzy was your baby, and you worked hard to keep her well and happy, Just know that she was the happiest person I know.
