Dear Bill and family, 
I will always remember Dawn with that happy laugh and smile. When she smiled it made me smile. I couldn’t help it. It was awesome.  She was always upbeat and looking on the bright side of things. She used to cut my grass and we would just talk about life. We realized that we are doing doing pretty good and that we were very blessed. I know her heart belonged to you Bill and her babies and family. Her eyes would light up when she talked about you guys. It was so sweet. I will miss her. She left a spot in my heart that will never go away. Thank you Dawn for being you. I know you are at peace and feel an amount of love that we can’t even fathom. Good for you!  You deserve it!

Dawn knew me as Dawna Gillmore in high-school at Southwest, and skating at south beach, tropical park, or Crandon, & catching rays was the goal of day back then. Slots of fun or bird bowl maybe on the rainy  days. She was the funniest,  kindest, coolest, chic I thought there ever was. I'm sad my friend is gone too soon. 

Dawn helped us maintain our landscaping for 15 years.  We used to talk a lot about our lives.  I remember when she and Bill were getting married.  The wedding picture was so beautiful!  She told me about their fabulous trips.  The last one was to the Grand Canyon.  What fabulous pictures.  Her work was great.  She was with us 15 years for a reason!  She was a wonderful lady!  I told her Jesus was resurrected for a reason.  We will all be resurrected and see each other again and all live knowing and loving God.  God is love.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dawn's passing. We were good friends in high school, and seeing the photo of her at the beach brought back a flood of wonderful memories. She was always up for fun, always optimistic and smiling. We hung out at the beach, roller skated, hung with friends at Tropical Park, and cruised around the Grove in her convertible. We laughed A LOT, and occasionally cried if we needed to. These really were the happiest of  youthful times. They are unforgettable.  Although I hadn't seen her in eons, she will always be remembered as fearless, vulnerably sweet and very kind. I am truly grateful to have had such a lovely person in my life. 
My sincerest condolences go out to her family, friends and all who love her. No doubt she loved back with all her heart. Heaven has a new and beautiful star. Rest in Peace Dawn.   

Mom, I will never forget your smile when I would say "Mom where is....." or "I love you mom" it was always a big one. I'll never for get our last conversation we had, or how careing you are to other people. You are good for Dad, us kids and the grandkids.

I never had a mother in my life, but halfway through my Dad found my Mom. She never had a child of her own, but I know I was her Son. I love you Mommy. I wish I said it more often.

I was devastated to hear this news today. Dawn and I met in 10th grade at Southwest High School.  We lost track over the years but fondly remember many Saturdays at Crandon Park. We were always at the beach. During the week we hung out at Tropical Park at the famous parking lot. Good times. She was definitely a kind, thoughtful, generous  soul.  R.I.P. dear friend.

My  Dawn, I have so many  memories of you. You were at my first 4th of July party in Goulds and every other after.  Every time I think of You it brings a smile to my face. I remember sharing all the dolphin games together. Always the first game of the season, always at my house!!!

 The first person I called when I lost my dog.  Memories of always comforting me when my dogs were sick. Nobody knew me like you Dawn.  We shared our grief and happiness together.  

My moms gratitude for knowing you has been expressed to me for the last week and she wants you to know she loves you Dawn. Everybody loves you Dawn.  

The only relief I can put in this message is that you are not alone, you will never be alone, you are with my beloved husband and you two can watch down on us, Bill and I and keep us in line.

Memories of you Dawn are priceless!!!!

Dawn was my cousin.  My brother and I grew up with her and her sister in Miami and always remember her smile and the sparkle in her eyes.  There was a time when she seemed to lose that, but then she got it back and somehow kept it to the end.  God has a special place for people like my cousin and unfortunately for the rest of us, it leaves us with a temporary pain and loss that I know I feel now.  I wish I had kept in better contact with her recently.  When we spoke on holidays, I know she was a beautiful person who had a beautiful life.  I know she has finally gone home and found peace.

Dawn and I met in kindergarten. I've got fond memories of Dawn, she was always a sweetheart and will be missed. Love and prayers for the family.
