My heart is beyond repair. I was so lucky to have spent over 42 years with one of the kindest, most loving men in the universe. He made my life so wonderful. We had so many great memories. He was so intelligent and had degrees in pharmacy, business and an MBA. He was the reason I was able to build my business. He took such good care of me and it made every day special to share it and every thought with him. We shared a love of music, dancing, movies, books ,travel and theater. My every decision was made with his sage advice. We had the same taste in everything even art and decorating. The outpouring of love from our friends would have made him so happy.
He would have been 90 on September 18th.
He is survived by his son , Scott McGregor and his daughter Diane McGregor. I’m so lucky to have them as family.
He is predeceased in death by his parents Walter and Mary Alva McGregor and his exwife Maria. His father was in the Navy and part of of an elite group of cryptographers that broke the Japanese code in WW II. He died much too young and Bill had a lot of responsibility from age 10.
He served in the Army.
He had a wonderful career in the pharmaceutical and medical industry working for Abbott, Johnson and Johnson, and Organon. Then he had a medical, market research company . He even wrote in-depth reports for medical companies and did some public speaking. That was followed by helping me build my business.
He was a gourmet cook and we loved to entertain. He even won a cooking contest with a recipe for Oriental Duck Burrittos.
We had so much fun being able to sail the world on Smooth Jazz Cruises and dancing to music we both loved. The friends we made added so much joy to our lives.
We both had health issues in the last few years and we were always there for each other.
We spent almost 43 years every day saying I love you. I will miss him every minute of every day.
