Whitney Susan (Rhoda) Barrows

Whitney Susan (Rhoda) Barrows died unexpectedly at her home on October 7th at the age of 32. Whitney was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated from Montgomery High School in 2008. She moved to Colorado after high school to attend the University of Colorado Boulder. She later moved to Florida where she met her husband and had her son Benjamin. In Whitney’s own words, her son was her pride and joy.

Whitney loved art, music, and inside jokes. She loved to laugh, and her laugh was infectious. Whitney loved family trips to Disney, especially with her sweet little boy. She was a very compassionate person, and she tried to help so many people with struggles in life that she understood.

Whitney is preceded in death by her uncles, George and Kurt Rhoda, as well as her grandparents, Douglas Rhoda, Susan and Pat Cox, and George Hansen. She will be dearly missed by her husband Eric Barrows, her son Benjamin Barrows, and step son Alex Barrows; her parents Erik and Brenda Rhoda; her grandmother Susan Rhoda; her sister Kaitlyn (AJ) Bullock; her brother in law Brian (Jillian) Barrows and nieces Brielle, Sydney, and Siena Barrows; her sister in law Kristen (Amy) Barrows; her in laws Susan and Ray Barrows; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
