Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Margaret and Frank Klamet on February 16, 1953. He attended St. Leo’s Catholic School and Church then Borromeo Seminary finishing high school at Padua Franciscan. He attended Cleveland State University. He married Connie Dease on October 30, 1993 at St John’s Cathedral in Cleveland Ohio. Tom worked all of his life in the field of healthcare. From a young age, he compassionately cared for others, beginning at Holy Family Home Health Care & Hospice. Tom’s potential was seen by all he encountered, and he seized the opportunity to take over his own medical supply company, Arrow Medical. An entrepreneur at heart, he went on to develop and produce medical and nutritional health care products and eventually manage and direct additional Life Sciences companies. Tom enjoyed cooking and entertaining so much that he partnered in ownership of restaurants in Cleveland. He was involved in the creation of the Endowment Trust for St. John’s Cathedral and was involved in many fundraising events for the diocese of Cleveland. He took great interest in politics and received several awards for these contributions to the Republican party. Tom had a passion for everything he did. His drive and unwavering tenacity fueled his ability to make it all happen. His work ethic was admirable, only surpassed by his talent to bring any crowd together anytime, anywhere to laugh and enjoy life like he did. He not only planned the party, he was the life of the party. He was an amazing chef and entertainer. He loved being in the kitchen, surrounded by his loved ones. Tom’s legacy is one of love, faith, generosity, determination, and above all, family. Tom was so loved by all who knew him, he will be deeply missed.
