If you were fortunate enough to interact with Sandy, you would have quickly realized that she was already an angel in training… She was always positive and loved everyone or everything she met. As kids, it was not out of the norm to come home and find a new dog, hamster, hermit crab, fish, turtle, or a transient that needed a place to stay for a while…, so I am sure Heaven needed an additional caretaker.
Sandy was an incredible Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Friend. Sandy was proud of many things, but nothing more than her loving family. She is survived by a large family including her Husband of 36 years Garland (Gary) Byers; Her daughters, Libbie (Dean) Penman, and Kristie (Mike) Campbell; and her sons, Larry (Karla) Edwards, and Rob (Stacey) Byers; her sister Joanie (John) Moerlein; brothers John (Kathy) and Bob (Debbie) Brewer; and 11 grandchildren (Victoria, Kailib, Logan, Dean, Derek, Kallen, Grant, Dylan, Jaccob, Kaden, Grayson; and 4 great grandchildren (Elliott, Jackson, Amelia, Arya). She was proceeded in death by her father, Harold (Buck) Brewer, and mother, Effie Brewer.
Sandy was born on December 14th, 1947, in Middletown, Ohio, and grew up and graduated from Carlisle High School in Carlisle Ohio. Sandy and family made several moves throughout the years, but she settled back in Carlisle. After the kids graduated, Gary and Sandy moved to Raleigh and eventually retired in Naples, Florida. Throughout the years Sandy held several different occupations - CNA, Paramedic, Insurance Agent, Property Management, and Sales. Sandy was successful in all her endeavors, but she really excelled and won multiple awards as a Sales Professional, where she retired as a VP of Sales for Moveable Cubicles. Before retiring, she took an entrepreneurial shot and started her own Packing and Delivery store (Ship on Site).
All family members and friends will miss the unwavering love and friendship Sandy shared with everyone; she will forever be in our hearts!
