John Costello

John Costello, 57, of Naples passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Born December 22, 1954 in Pennsgrove, NJ to Naomi (Rainear) and the late James Costello, John was a graduate of Naples HS and a successful business owner of Gulfside Construction. John owned a raceboat and enjoyed speedboat racing. He also enjoyed racing cars and going fast. He was a loving father and dear friend to all who knew him. He will be missed by all.

John is survived by his beloved daughter Jenna (Chris); loving life partner of 18 years Jennifer Adams and her daughter Alexandra Adams; cherished mother Naomi; 2 sisters Betty Jane “BJ” (Carlos) Sanclemente of Pilesgrove, NJ and Barbara Durant; 2 nephews Robert Keith Sanclemente of Middletown, DE and Brian of Delaware City, DE and beloved dog Rocco.

John was preceded in death by his father James, brother James Costello, Jr., nephew Chuck Sanclementte, and Jenna’s mother, John’s dear friend Norma Wierda.

A visitation will be held between the hours of 5–8pm on Friday, January 27th at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 28th at New Hope Ministries, 7675 Davis Blvd., Naples, with private entombment to follow at Naples Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made by check to: The American Cancer Society (for the Relay to Life). A donation box will be available at both the funeral home and Church.
