Frances Wilkinson Herman, 86, passed away June 4th in Naples. Born February 12, 1926 in Maiden, NC, she was raised in Lenoir, NC. She and her late husband Allen Herman moved to Naples in 1957, where they and her sister and brother in law built and operated Sandrift Apts until 1977. In 1964 the same four founded Benfield Furniture which operated until 2011.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Teach, grandson David Teach, sister, Hilda Benfield, nephew Mark Benfield, and Parker Benfield and great good friend Shelly Benfield.
