Born in Cleveland, OH, on October 7, 1928, the son of the late Edward and Helen (Laszlo) Kalapos; Beloved husband to Judy; Brother to Helen Rauscher, Larry, deceased (Elaine) Kalapos, Marianne, deceased (Adam, deceased) Berzinskas; Loving father and stepfather to Deborah (Rick) Nicastro, Pamela Kane, deceased, Susan (Tim) Bauman, Michael (Angela) Kane, Bob (Stacy, deceased) Kane, John (Amy) Schramm, Betsy (Andy) Dennis, Rob (Amy) Schramm; Cherished grandfather to 11 and great grandfather to nine; A Friend to many.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He had a long and successful career with the Glidden Company. He was respected by all who worked with him and for him. The respect was mutual. He was a true gentleman, and he will be dearly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108.
