Chelsea was born in Midland, Michigan. Preceded in passing by her beloved mother Mary Watson in 2017 and her eldest nephew Quinn earlier this year, she is survived by her devoted father, Paul Watson, loving sister, and her dear nieces and nephews, who brought immense joy to her life.
A brilliant mind, Chelsea held two master's degrees, in psychology from Northern Arizona University, and an MBA from Notre Dame. She was a passionate foodie, wine enthusiast, and an excellent cook, always showing her love through the culinary arts.
Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, with memorable travels to Chile, France, Portugal, and South Africa. She loved connecting with the people of those countries.
She will be remembered for her intelligence, warmth, and the joy she brought into the lives of her family and friends. Chelsea’s legacy of compassion, curiosity, and love for life will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
She will be laid to rest with her mother in Michigan. A Funeral Mass at St. William Catholic Church will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 10am. A reception with light refreshments to follow in the Saint William Catholic Church hall.
Memorial donations may be made to Vitas hospice whose personnel were wonderful in the last stages of Chelsea’s life.
